At some point in time, you may want to request information from the government. After all, citizens checking up on government is what helps keep government honest. But, how do you do it?
I admit to never having done it before. Not once. Never. Zero times. I probably will at some point in my legal career and I look forward to that. So, how am I going to figure out how to do it?
Barbara Peters, a Southern California attorney, provided me with great links on requesting information. The first one is for a Federal request. The second one is specific to California. I want to thank Barbara for sharing these.
Now if you want to request information, you have the tools to do it yourself.
