Two similar stories here with two different results. The Cupertino Unified School District has been ordered to pay $700,000 to the family of an autistic girl who was assaulted by a teacher. Conversely, a Washington woman who was attacked by her son after she was told she could not keep him in a steel cage was given nothing.
Okay, so this isn’t really related to the blog, but I found it fascinating. One family fights for their daguther to receive compensation after someone who was supposed to take care of her did not. A second woman thens sues the state after she is hurt by her child. I just don’t get it.
