Someone damaged my property. I want to get a small upgrade. Is the other person responsible to pay for this?
You should ask whomever is going to repair your property for a letter explaining why you need what you want. Ino ther words, if your window was broken, why he recommends Window A instead of Window B. Sometimes, the labor for Window A may be less than the labor for Window B. So, even though the actual window may be more expensive, the end result may be less. Give the letter to the other person and see what she says. If she wont pay it, you may want to take what she will give you. If there is a large difference, it may be worth going to small claims court. However, remember you will have to take time off work, pay fees, etc….
